Sonic Sea - Trailer

Client: The Ocean

Oceans are a sonic symphony. Sound is essential to the survival and prosperity of marine life. But man-made ocean noise is threatening this fragile world. Co-produced with the National Resource Defense Council (NRDC), Sonic Sea is about protecting life in our waters from the destructive effects of oceanic noise pollution.

IF's Michelle Dougherty and Daniel Hinerfeld of the NRDC directed this powerful documentary that exposes the destructive effects of oceanic noise pollution on marine life. The film premiered on the Discovery Channel May 2016 and can now be viewed through Discovery's streaming platforms.
