Imaginary Forces seeks a Head of Production for its West Coast studio.
Head of Production will oversee production staff/personnel, office PA's, Creative Directors, and artist as well as oversee the studio from all aspects and details that serve and lead creative production and clients.
We are looking for a go-getter who likely started as a PA with a proven track record of growth including reliability, resilience, hard work and maintaining excellence. A senior level producer (8-10+ years or experience) or current HOP/EP. Must have a willingness to work in a "roll-up-your-sleeves" environment, have a team player mentality, strong organizational skills and the ability to complete day-to-day assignments and projects with little direction.
The ideal HOP candidate should have experience in design and creative development, branding and identity development, live-action production, original content development, 2D and 3D animation pipelines, VFX and editorial. Knowledge and confidence to ballpark, bid and schedule projects.
The HOP will engage in business affairs with Business Development team, Executive Producer(s) and accounting department as well as participate in marketing efforts with the IF marketing team. HOP will work closely with EP's, post and line producers to maintain standards and productions for all shoots. All IF creatives directors are also live-action directors. The HOP / EP relationship is a crucial element to successful studio operations.
