IF's weekly highlight on the people that make up our company. This week the spotlight is on Ben Turner.
Ben Turner is an Editorial Assistant working out of Imaginary Forces' NY office. Here are his thoughts:
On where he’s from: San Antonio, TX
On where he went to school: The University of Arizona
On how he got into the business: Majored in Media Arts. I wanted a creative career.
On how he first got involved at IF: Began as a freelancer on the Sears Promotional Rebrand.
On what he likes about production: To see an idea take shape and evolve.
On alternate career choices: Ophthalmologist
On hobbies: Friends, NYC food, running, reading, music, guitar, motion picture shorts
On projects he's working on right now: Too many to list.
On what excites him about design or production: Design: Creative Uniformity, Production: Efficiency
On what inspires him: My friends.
On family or pets: Love my family. Wish I could have a dog or a horse...or both.
On current design trends that excite him: Any design trend that successfully conveys the idea of a subject and does not, at the same time, outshine or obscure it.
On his dream job: A Director/Editor, or an Ophthalmologist who writes novels on the side which are then turned into academy award winning feature films.
