Peter Frankfurt to speak at 5D: The Future of Immersive Design conference
October 4th and 5th marks the first ever 5D Conference. 5D explores the impact of ever expanding technology in design for narrative media. Ranging from film to architecture to interactive spaces.
This international conference will take place at the California State University in Long Beach at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Spread out over the two days, 5D will feature experts from all fields including filmmakers, architects, television network executives, and technologists. Peter Frankfurt is joined by Evan Hirsch, Creative Director - Microsoft Labs, commercial and feature film director Joseph Kosinski and renowned architect and philosopher Greg Lynn, to discuss narrating spaces and explore what happens to the "experience of architectural form, volume, navigation, materials, urban context, authorship and the communities that they create when they are projected into a digital world."
