Lauren's career as a director and designer began at Washington University in St. Louis where she earned a BFA in Visual Communication and developed her skills in print design, typography, and photography. Upon graduating, Lauren got her start at MTV Networks' on-air department, and later joined Stardust and Loyalkaspar where she honed her craft in both advertising and broadcast design.
Since joining Imaginary forces in 2007, Lauren has worked with high profile brands such as Target and Herman Miller. She has contributed designs to several television main titles, including the Emmy nominated titles for HBO shows The Pacific and Boardwalk Empire. Lauren's film work includes designs for the main titles for Remember Me, Bride Wars, and Going the Distance. As a director, she has led projects for Pepsi, Smirnoff, W Network, HBO and the branding of the Dusk Network. In addition to her successful directing work, Lauren contributes her impressive visual style to Imaginary Forces as a whole, designing imaginaryforces.com and other elements of the company's overall branding. Her work has been featured in ResFest, Stash, and IdN.
Lauren's other passions include Brooklyn, foosball, condiments, Hitchcock, and all things lemon.
