"The Stepford Wives" teaser provides just enough theme to intrigue, without divulging the film's plot. A smooth flow of expensive cars, shoes, suits, and electronics leads to the simple question - if man seeks perfection in the objects he surrounds himself with, why wouldn't he seek the perfect mate as well? The trailer closes with an indelible image of Nicole Kidman - symbolizing the standard of "Stepford" perfection.

Working closely with Nancy Goliger of Paramount Pictures as well as the film's producers and writer, IF developed the concept of the piece with no film footage.
