IF takes us through a 3-D matrix of history, murder and conspiracy in this teaser/trailer for "National Treasure: Book of Secrets."

Imaginary Forces worked closely with Buena Vista Motion Pictures Marketing to design the tease for "National Treasure: Book of Secrets." IF animated the words in a diary, the object being searched for in the film. Weaving in and out of the text, the dynamic animation reveals the locations that the treasure hunt will lead the characters to in the highly anticipated sequel to the smash hit "National Treasure."

Within the body of the teaser/trailer are Masonic symbols, hidden and embedded by IF into the landmarks. The symbols also turn into the cast run at the end of the film. Fire and smoke elements were shot by the IF team, which were included in the animated portion when Booth's pages were incinerated, as well as all of the graphic cards in the teaser.

The animations were created in Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects, and composited in Autodesk Inferno. All of the type and symbols were designed and animated in Maxon Cinema 4D.
